課程目標

本課程目的是協助大一新生於入學初期建立大學學習與自我發展的基礎，作為學生進入大學後的「入門地圖」。課程將引導學生從認識自己、認識學校、建立 AI 時代的學習方法，以及理解社會與安全責任等面向出發，逐步形成對大學生活、學習方向與未來發展的初步理解。 透過本課程，學生將能認識個人特質、學習風格、內在動機與生涯興趣；熟悉本校校史文化、校園資源與學習支持系統；學習運用 AI 與數位工具提升自主學習能力；並理解大學生在社會參與、公共安全、永續發展與公民責任中的角色，為後續四年大學學習與個人生涯發展奠定基礎。 This course aims to help first-year students establish a foundation for university learning and self-development during the early stage of their college life. It serves as an “introductory map” for students as they enter university. The course guides students to develop an initial understanding of university life, learning directions, and future development by exploring self-understanding, knowledge of the university, learning methods in the age of AI, and social and safety responsibilities. Through this course, students will be able to recognize their personal traits, learning styles, intrinsic motivations, and career interests; become familiar with the university’s history and culture, campus resources, and learning support systems; learn to use AI and digital tools to enhance self-directed learning; and understand the roles of university students in social participation, public safety, sustainable development, and civic responsibility. In doing so, the course lays a foundation for students’ four years of university learning and personal career development.

課程概述

本課程為大一上學期校本課程，主要目的在於協助新生順利銜接高中與大學階段的學習生活，並建立大學四年學習與自我成長的基礎方向。課程內容以「自我探索與大學學習」為核心，結合生命教育、校史文化、AI 學習能力、社會責任與公共安全等主題，協助學生從個人、學校、科技與社會四個層面理解大學學習的意義。 課程設計兼顧導師輔導與素養主題教學，透過課堂討論、測評工具、校園資源介紹、AI 線上學習模組與學習反思，引導學生逐步認識自己的學習特質與發展方向，建立對學校的認同與歸屬感，並培養面對 AI 時代所需的自主學習能力與社會責任意識。 This course is a school-based curriculum for first-year students in their first semester. Its main purpose is to help new students make a smooth transition from high school to university learning and campus life, while establishing a basic direction for four years of university study and personal growth. Centered on “Self-Exploration and University Learning,” the course integrates themes such as life education, school history and culture, AI learning competencies, social responsibility, and public safety. It helps students understand the meaning of university learning from four dimensions: the self, the university, technology, and society. The course design combines academic advising with competency-based thematic instruction. Through classroom discussions, assessment tools, introductions to campus resources, AI online learning modules, and reflective learning activities, students are guided to gradually understand their own learning characteristics and developmental direction, develop a sense of identification and belonging toward the university, and cultivate the self-directed learning abilities and sense of social responsibility needed in the AI era.

授課內容

   本課程授課內容分為四個主要主題：
（一）生命教育與自我探索
本主題會引導學生思考「我是誰？我為什麼在這裡？我要去哪裡？」等生命與學習問題，協助學生從高中階段較被動的學習模式，轉向大學階段較自主的探索與規劃。
（二）學校歷史、校園文化與資源認識
本主題會介紹創校理念、校史精神、陽明山在地特色與國際化發展方向，亦將介紹圖書館、體育館、博物館、藝術空間、國際交流、交換計畫與獎助學金等校內外學習資源。
（三）AI 時代的學習能力
本主題會說明 AI 時代的大學學習方法、數位學習倫理、資訊判讀、邏輯思考與自主學習策略。。
（四）社會責任與公共安全
本主題會引導學生理解大學生的社會責任，思考個人專業如何回應社會需求、永續發展與公共議題，亦將介紹本校 USR 計畫、SDGs、ESG、校園安全通報、緊急事件處理與國家安全等相關內容。

Course Themes and Content
1. Life Education and Self-Discovery

This theme encourages students to reflect on fundamental questions related to life and learning, such as “Who am I?”, “Why am I here?”, and “Where am I going?”. It supports students in transitioning from the relatively passive learning approaches of secondary education to the self-directed exploration, planning, and lifelong learning expected in higher education.

2. University History, Campus Culture, and Learning Resources

This theme introduces the University's founding philosophy, historical traditions, the distinctive local characteristics of the Yangmingshan area, and its vision for international development. Students will also become familiar with a wide range of academic and co-curricular resources, including the library, sports facilities, museums, art spaces, international exchange opportunities, study abroad programs, scholarships, and other support services available both on and off campus.

3. Learning Competencies in the AI Era

This theme explores effective learning strategies for higher education in the age of artificial intelligence. Topics include digital learning ethics, information literacy, critical and logical thinking, responsible use of AI technologies, and strategies for self-directed and lifelong learning.

4. Social Responsibility and Public Safety

This theme helps students develop an understanding of the social responsibilities of university students and encourages them to consider how their academic disciplines and professional expertise can contribute to addressing societal needs, sustainable development challenges, and contemporary public issues. The theme also introduces the University's University Social Responsibility (USR) initiatives, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, campus safety reporting procedures, emergency response protocols, and issues related to national security awareness.

授課方式

本課程的課程實施方式包含：
1.導師輔導時間
由導師負責學生生活適應、學習銜接、院系認識與師生互動，協助學生在入學初期建立與系所、教師及同儕之間的連結。
2.素養主題教學
由素養課程教師依據四大核心主題進行課程引導，包括自我探索、學校認識、AI 學習能力與社會責任等內容。
3.學校相關測驗與反思活動
引導學生理解學校相關測驗的功能與結果，將測評結果轉化為自我認識與學習規劃的參考。
4.校園與資源導入
結合校內各單位資源，介紹學生在學習、生活、心理輔導、國際交流、職涯發展、安全維護等方面可使用的支持系統，協助學生建立完整的大學資源地圖。
5.線上多元學習
配合 16+2 週課程設計，安排 AI 工具應用與數位學習相關線上模組，讓學生依照教材與影片指引進行自主操作與練習，培養自主學習與科技應用能力。

Course Implementation Methods

1.Faculty Advising and Departmental Orientation

This component is facilitated by faculty advisors and focuses on students’ adjustment to university life, academic transition, understanding of their academic departments, and interactions with faculty and peers. It aims to help students establish meaningful connections with their departments, instructors, and classmates during their transition into university.

2.Competency-Oriented Thematic Learning

Through competency-oriented instruction, students are guided to explore the four core themes of the course, including self-discovery, university orientation, learning competencies in the AI era, and social responsibility. A variety of learning approaches, such as lectures, discussions, experiential activities, and reflective exercises, are incorporated to promote holistic student development.

3.University Assessments and Reflective Activities

This component helps students understand the purposes and implications of various university-administered assessments. Students are encouraged to interpret assessment results as valuable references for self-understanding, personal growth, and academic planning through reflection activities and learning assignments.

4.Campus and Resource Orientation

Drawing upon resources from various university offices and support units, this component introduces students to the services available for academic learning, student life, counseling and psychological support, international exchange, career development, and campus safety. The goal is to help students develop a comprehensive understanding of the resources available throughout their university experience.

5.Online and Self-Directed Learning

In alignment with the University's “16+2” curriculum framework, this component incorporates online learning modules related to AI applications and digital learning. Guided by instructional materials and multimedia resources, students engage in independent practice and exploration to strengthen their self-directed learning abilities and digital competencies.
