課程概述

HISTORY OF CHINESE LITERATURE
　　本課程旨在對中國文學發展史之各構成單元（通常是朝代及由社會、作者、作品、讀者所組成的文學活動）做個別論述及通貫說明，以使學者更能瞭解文學的性質及其對個人與社會的作用。
　　文學史可分為事實、理解、敘述三個層次，其中理解與事實，以及敘述與理解，各自形成一種相對的既吻合又斷裂的狀態。本課程於此等既矛盾又衝突的狀態將反覆強調，希望能建立學生獨立思考的能力，并為進入學術研究工作預做準備。
An Introduction to literary activities in each dynasty in Chinese history. The course of time, from ancient to modern. Genre contains poetry, prose, drama and novels, but also contains serious literature, popular literature, folk literature and other literary types.

授課內容

本課程之目的在深入掌握歷代文學資料，研究歷代文學之發展過程，探索其演進規律，評價歷代作家與作品在文學史之地位，並從各種角度尋求未來發展的趨向。本學期授課範圍從隋唐至宋元明清。詳述詩、詞、曲、賦、散文、小說、變文等各種文類體式的演變，重要文學作家之成就與地位，藉以通貫中國古代文學發展變遷歷程與規律，厚植文學專業之基礎能力。
The purpose of this course is to have an in-depth grasp of the literary materials of the past dynasties, study the development process of literature of the past dynasties, explore its evolution rules, evaluate the status of writers and works of past dynasties in literary history, and seek future development trends from various perspectives. The teaching scope of this semester is from the Sui Tang Dynasties to the Song Dynasty, with an overview of the Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. Describe in detail the evolution of various literary genres such as poetry, lyrics, music, fu, prose, novels, and essays, as well as the achievements and status of important literary writers. In order to understand the development and changes of ancient Chinese literature, we can deepen the basic abilities of literature majors.

授課方式

1、講解:研讀中國文學史概要，依本學期課程進度說明各時代之文學發展狀況。
2、討論:以多元視角進行討論，期能將隋唐至清代文學作綜合考察，藉以開拓文學視野。
3、專題研究:研擬文學專題，學習學術論文寫作方式，作更深入之閱讀、探索與撰寫。
4、即時演練:課堂上直接練習書寫教師考題，藉以加深學習印象，統整文學觀點。
5、綜合評述:由老師歸納同學意見與回饋，並加以評述之。
1、Lecture: Study the Outline of Chinese Literary History and explain the literary developments of each era according to the course progress for this semester.
2、Discussion: Conduct discussions from multiple perspectives, aiming to comprehensively examine literature from the SuiTang period to the Qing dynasty to broaden literary horizons.
3、Specialized Research: Develop literary research topics, learn academic writing methods, and engage in more in-depth reading, exploration, and composition.
4、Immediate Practice: Directly practice writing based on prompts provided by the instructor to deepen learning impressions.
5、Comprehensive Review: The instructor summarizes and provides feedback on students' opinions and contributions, offering evaluations and commentary.

課程需求

要報告

分組報告（15–20 分鐘），請自下列四項中擇一完成：
一、文人小傳（隋唐至清代）
介紹一位文人之生平事蹟、文學特色、代表作品、文學史定位及其後世影響。
二、化身古人
選擇一理想時代與文人角色，以「第一人稱」方式，敘述自身的文學觀、生命心境與作品創作背景。
三、主題式報告
以文學母題或概念為核心（如詠史、懷古、山水、女性書寫等），比較不同時代的表現與特色。
四、文學史期刊研究整理
閱讀至少兩篇文學史相關期刊論文，綜合其研究成果，製作 30 頁以上 PPT，內容須包含：期刊主題與出處、選擇動機、重點說明、個人評論與創獲。
