教學目標內涵

1.使學員認識何謂「口傳文學」以及神話、傳說與民間故事的差異。 2.使學員認識「故事模式」，以及坎伯的神話學說和劇本作家克里斯多夫的創作應用。 3.使學員思考口傳文學的現代意義與價值。

課程概述

本課程屬於「故事寫作跨領域學程」中的一門課程，因此課程設計上分別著重「故事」與「寫作」兩個層面。 在「故事」層面，本課程重點式介紹中國、日本、希臘、北歐、印地安以及台灣原住民族的口傳神話、傳說與民間故事，亦擴及格林童話及近年流行的都市傳說。在媒材上，亦應用繪畫、雕塑、繪本、動畫等對神話傳說的再創作為講授教材。 在「寫作」層面，則著重於應用面，利用劇本作家克里斯多夫《作家之路：從英雄旅程學習說一個好故事》書中的故事創作十二步驟，讓學生從拆解電影開始，進而能以十二步驟創作故事。並認識故事結構與模式。 This course is part of the "Interdisciplinary Program in Storytelling," and therefore, its curriculum is designed to focus on two main aspects: "Story" and "Writing." On the "Story" aspect, the course emphasizes the exploration of oral myths, legends, and folk stories from China, Japan, Greece, Scandinavia, Native American cultures, and Taiwan's indigenous peoples. It also extends to include Grimm's fairy tales and contemporary urban legends. Various artistic mediums such as drawing, sculpture, picture books, animation, etc., are employed for the creative reinterpretation of myths and legends. On the "Writing" aspect, the focus is on practical application. The course utilizes Christopher Vogler's "The Writer's Journey: Mythic Structure for Writers" and its twe lve step storytelling process. Students start by analyzing films and then progress to creating their own stories using the twelve steps. The course aims to familiarize students with story structures and patterns.

授課內容

神話、傳說與詩歌，都是文學產生的重要源頭。本課程帶領學生梳理神話、傳說與故事之間的區別，探究神話、傳說的內容與分類，認識相關的重要理論。此外，經由實際文本的導讀，以及對於小說、戲曲、石刻、繪畫等方面影響的實例分析，引導學生進入神話、傳說中豐富精彩的奇幻世界。個人作業與分組報告的安排，藉以增進學生的書寫及口語表達能力。並讓學生透過AI生成工具的輔助，嘗試創作，增進數位運用的能力。
Myths, legends, and poetry are all important sources of literature. This course leads students to sort out the differences between myths, legends and stories, explore the content and classification of myths and legends, and understand the relevant important theories. In addition, through the introduction of actual texts and the case analysis of the influence of novels, operas, stone carvings, paintings, etc., students will be guided into the rich and wonderful fantasy world of myths and legends. Individual assignments and group presentations are arranged to enhance students' written and oral skills. With the help of AI-generated tools, students can try their hand at creating and enhance their ability to use digital.
