課程目標
1. 概論中國古典小說發展概況，希冀引領學生透過研究探討，得以深入中國古典小說的堂奧。
2.選讀賞析唐代傳奇(如任氏傳.李娃傳等)。
3.選讀賞析宋元話本(以清平山堂話本為主)。
4.選讀賞析「三言二拍一型」擬話本(如喻世明言.拍案驚奇.型世 言等名篇)。
5.選讀賞析明清章回小說(如三國演義.水滸傳.西遊記.金瓶梅.聊 齋志異.老殘遊記.紅樓夢等片段選讀)。

課程概述
先概論中國古典小說發展概況，再選讀賞析唐代傳奇(如任氏傳.李娃傳等)、宋元話本(以清平山堂話本為主)、「三言二拍一型」擬話本(如喻世明言.拍案驚奇.型世言等名篇)及明清章回小說(如三國演義.水滸傳.西遊記.金瓶梅.聊齋志異.老殘遊記.紅樓夢等片段選讀)；希冀引領學生透過研究探討，得以深入中國古典小說的堂奧。
A general survey of Chinese classical stories, selected readings and appreciation of the romances during the Tang Dynasty and the story scripts of the Song Dynasty, and chaptered stories of the Ming and Qing Dynasties lead students to discover the depth of Chinese classical stories.
授課內容
本課程依時代論述中國古典小說發展概況，再依次引領學生賞析歷代古典小說，包括：神話、寓言、筆記小說、唐傳奇、宋元話本、擬話本；及明清白話章回小說、文言小說等。
希冀學生透過賞析深入瞭解中國古典小說的堂奧及哲理。
This course discusses the development of Chinese classical novels according to the era, and then leads students to appreciate the classical novels of the past dynasties, including: myths, fables, notebook novels, Tang legends, Song and Yuan scripts, imitative scripts; and Ming and Qing vernacular chapter novels, classical Chinese Novels etc.
It is hoped that students can gain a deeper understanding of the mysteries and philosophies of Chinese classical novels through appreciation and analysis.
