課程概述
奇幻文學無論在東西方皆有悠久歷史，從早期的童話與神話，到現代眾多子類型和跨媒體的分支，此類文學一直深受廣大讀者喜愛。許多人的文學啟蒙由此類讀物開始，不少文學創作者亦是由奇幻小說出發。奇幻作品不僅在文學史上有重要地位，與現代人的生活也已密不可分。
有鑑於此，本課程將以一學期時間，帶領學生閱讀東西方重要奇幻經典作品，讓同學熟悉奇幻傳統在文學史上的發展脈絡，並透過課堂上的作品分析和課後的寫作練習，培養選課同學對文學藝術的鑑賞力和小說創作技術。
授課內容
奇幻文學無論在東西方皆有悠久歷史，從早期的神話，到現代眾多子類型和跨媒體的分支。奇幻作品不僅在文學史上有重要地位，與現代人的生活也已密不可分。
本學期課程，帶領學生閱讀重要奇幻經典作品，讓同學熟悉奇幻傳統在文學史上的發展脈絡，並透過課堂上的作品分析和討論，培養選課同學對文學藝術的鑑賞力和小說創作技術。
Fantasy literature has a long history in both the East and the West, from early myths to various subtypes and cross media branches in modern times. Fantasy works not only hold an important position in literary history, but have also become inseparable from modern life.
This semester's course will lead students to read important classic fantasy works, familiarize them with the development of fantasy tradition in literary history, and cultivate their appreciation of literature and art and novel creation skills through analysis and discussion of works in class.
