課程目標

認識世界文化遺產的型態，鑑賞文化遺產價值的能力，了解聯合國教科文組織推動世界文化遺產的保護精神與其過程，熟悉歐洲文明與中國古建築文化的發展與影響，分析比較台灣文化資產的保存演變，探究近現代文化遺產再利用的辦法。

課程概述

文化遺產在世界各國有不同保護的意識。此課程擬定探究世界各國的建築史學並融會貫通文明發展的過程，剖析世界文化遺產在歷史演變的價值觀。 課程將涉略歐洲文明的發展與古建築的關係延伸至20世紀中葉世界文化遺產觀念的形成，並觸及中國近現代古建築保護的觀念與價值的影響，進而影響東南亞與台灣文化資產保護的價值觀。 廣義分析聯合國教科文組織對於文化遺產保護的發展演變，並探索近現代文化遺產再利用的情況。

授課內容

There are different awareness of the conservation of cultural heritage in countries around the world. Cultural Heritage is an expression of the ways of living developed by a community and passed on from generation to generation, including customs, practices, places, objects, artistic expressions and values. Cultural Heritage is often expressed as either Intangible or Tangible Cultural Heritage. Our class will explore the earliest countries in the world that have begun to protect heritage, and it is related to the development of European civilization and the formation of world cultural heritage.At the same time, we will explore UNESCO's application and protection of cultural heritages around the world.
