課程目標

1.認識與理解當代西方建築與室內設計相關的發展與思潮。 2.建立基本當代建築與室內設計史觀與理解架構。 3.厚植當代建築與室內設計相關知識背景與素養。 4.培養批判性論述思考之習慣與能力。

課程概述

二十世紀後半葉之後,建築與室內設計相關的歷史進程由近代走入當代,現代主義運動的烏托邦式理想開始逐一受到各方的挑戰與考驗,終而緩步走下神壇,取而代之的是眾聲喧嘩而多元紛起的各種後進理論與流派。本課程嘗試介紹與討論這些曾經登場且喧囂過的流派與理論們,它們多是以「反」現代主義,或是「補」其某方面不足的姿態出現,或如重拾人文方面的關懷,或如彌補(現代主義)寰宇美學的設定之下所導致缺乏個性與差異等等…。時光荏苒,伴隨全球化與網絡社會的崛起,當代建築與室內設計的歷史與思潮由一統走向發散甚至碎化的趨勢愈加明顯。本課程的設計,企圖嘗試引介與建構出超越於烏托邦式單一理想,更廣、更多元、更跨越、更多變的理論視野。 After the second half of the twentieth century, the development process of architecture & interior design history has moved from modern to contemporary. The utopian ideals of the modernist movement began to be challenged and tested by all parties one by one, and finally slowly stepped down from the altar and replaced by the voices of the people. Noisy and diversified backward theories and schools. This course attempts to introduce and discuss these genres and theories that have appeared on the scene and have been noisy. Most of them appear as "anti-modernist architecture", or "make up" some of its shortcomings, or regain humanistic care. , Or to make up for the lack of individuality and difference caused by the setting of (modernist) universal aesthetics, etc.... With the passage of time, with the rise of globalization and network society, the trend of contemporary architectural history and thoughts from unifying to diverging and even fragmenting is becoming more and more obvious. The design of this course attempts to introduce and construct a theoretical vision that goes beyond a single utopian ideal and is broader, more diverse, more leapfrog, and more variable.
