課程目標
一、凡善學者必善假於物，而始乎《詩》、《書》，終乎讀《禮》，教之善於學習。
二、以《禮》為本，篤志而行，隆禮而為君子，教之守法精神。
三、化性起偽，注錯習俗，以師法化之，以禮義導之，明教育之功效。 四、制天命而用之，騁能而化之，發揮個人之能力，展現積極之人生。

課程概述
荀卿，當即孫卿，司馬遷讀做「荀」，故後人多以「荀子」稱之。荀子生當戰國末，儒家之殿軍，重禮尚仁，以社會道德論人生，故曰「性惡」。以為「形具而神生」，有形而後有神，反對「良知」、「良能」之道德先驗論。人之善乃化性起偽之教育作用，人當奮發，制天命而用之。《荀子》三十二篇，〈大略〉以後六篇或為摘引取者，非荀子所作。
" Xun Qing” is “Sun Qing” precisely. “Sun” and " Xun”are the same in Si Ma Qian’s pronunciation, and there fore later generations call him "Xun Zi”. He lived towards the Warring Kingdoms, and he’s the person among the last winners in the Confucianism. Xun Zi valued propriety and kindness, and he expounded life by Moral Norms of the Society, hence “evil nature” is he' theory of human nature. He thought the existence of consciousness comes after the existence of body. He is opposed to the transcendental argument about “intuitive ability to know right or wrong” and “virtuous instinct”. The morality comes from correcting temperament and education. Mankind should be hardworking and promising in controlling temperament and making use of it. The book "Xun Zi” has thirty-two chapters. After the chapter that named ” the rough idea”, there were six chapters which weren’t Xun Zi’s works and might be an abridgement.
