教導學生樣區設置相關理論與實作方式，作為更深入研究的基礎資料庫。 Teach students the relevant theories and practical methods of plot setting, as a basic database for more in-depth research.

課程概述

教導學生了解植群的觀念，原理與方法，以及樣區設置後，可以進行的調查與資料分析，包括樣區與調查簡介、地圖與定位、植物資源調查、資料分析、地被調查、環境因子調查、環境影響評估調查、景觀樹木調查及台灣的植被帶等。 Teach students to understand the concept, principle and method of planting, as well as the investigation and data analysis that can be carried out after the sample area is set up, including sample area and survey introduction, map and positioning, plant resource investigation, data analysis, ground cover investigation, environmental factors survey, environmental impact assessment survey, landscape tree survey and vegetation belts in Taiwan, etc.

授課內容

本課程教導學生了解樣區設置的觀念，原理與方法，更強調樣區設置的實務應用。同時，也教授樣區設置後，可以進行的調查與資料分析。在應用方面，包含林木調查、生態調查、景觀調查、環評調查，皆特別進行說明，以使理論與實務接軌。另外，本課程也將介紹植被的一些特性, 以及這些特性將如何影響樣區的設置。最後，介紹台灣的基本植被類型，以做為調查工作的基礎。

This course, Plot Design & Investigation, is aimed to teach the concepts for the plot setting. Several factors which influence the plot setup are discussed in the lessons. Methods and items of investigation and data analysis are also mentioned. Permanent plots and dynamic plots, both are mainstreams in the current ecological researches, will be introduced at the last section of the course.
