課程目標

建築圖學為環境空間體察、記錄與表現的基本工具,也是建築設計的基本工具,屬於建築及都市設計系的入門課程。教授建築圖學的目的在使學生能於有限的時間內,能運用圖繪技巧表達空間創作的思緒,進而成為傳遞思想與理想的媒介。圖繪的技巧可分為手工圖繪與電腦圖繪,本課程著重於手工圖繪,務求讓同學能從基本的手工操作中,熟悉圖學表現的意義、培養鑑賞的能力,從而建立心手合一,養成隨想隨畫的習慣。因此在進入建築設計的訓練之前,先建立完整的圖繪體驗與基礎圖學概念,然後再利用心象實體交互輝映,傳達空間特質與表現能力。本課程以觀察、構思、方法,三個階段為基礎,讓學生從不同的題材中逐漸注入空間環境的體驗,創作思想的成形與表現,藉以建立系統化的認識與瞭解。Architectural drawing is a basic means of architectural and environmental expression and an important approach for architectural students to understand and design buildings and spaces also. The processes of this course deal with basic drawing principle, so that one can familiar with drawing tools and to express form, color, texture, material skillfully at first. Then one can form the idea of space through systematic observing, conceiving and constant training to create image with hands. This course is based on graphic training of different case studies, both at home and abroad, so that students can draw good building graphic and architectural drawing right at his hand shortly.

授課內容

一、建築所包含的切入面向極多,透過本課程的建築物的實地踏勘、資料收集、影片欣賞以及討論,期能讓學生發展出自己的建築知識體系的觀看方式。

二、本課程分為三個階段,第一階段為喚醒學生對於 自己與外在空間的感知能力,將身體作為一種工具,以身體的感官(視覺、聽覺、觸覺、嗅覺)進行空間的探索,並用身體的各個部位(一個腳掌長、一個手肘長、五個肩膀寬…)來「度量與紀錄」空間。第二階段為運用學生最擅長的數位工具(相機)進行身體與空間尺度關係的紀錄,並開始導入平面圖、立面圖、剖面圖與透視圖說等建築圖學的定義,讓學生用相機試著記錄實質空間或物品的平面、立面、剖面與透視圖說。第三階段是學會運用「建築圖說」作為溝通工具。

Architecture encompasses various perspectives. Through field surveys, data collection, video analysis, and discussions about buildings in this course, students are expected to cultivate their unique way of comprehending the architectural knowledge system.

This course is structured into three stages. The initial stage aims to awaken students' perception of both themselves and the surrounding space. It employs the body as a tool to explore space through sensory experiences (vision, hearing, touch, smell). Students employ different body measurements (such as one foot length, one elbow's length, five shoulders' width) to "measure and document" space. The second stage involves leveraging digital tools (cameras), capitalizing on students' skills, to document the correlation between the body and spatial dimensions. This phase also introduces architectural graphics' concepts like plans, elevations, sections, and perspectives. It encourages students to use cameras to attempt recording plan, elevation, section, and perspective drawings of actual spaces or objects. The final stage teaches students to employ "architectural diagrams" as a means of communication.

授課方式

1.本課程將結合建築設計一教學進度與需求安排進度。
2.學期末應將平時練習及平時作業集結成冊。
3.本課程為兩學分圖學課程與0學分製圖練習結合,每週由老師講解該週進度繪練習方式與重點後由助教帶領學生於圖學教室練習,老師與助教會不定時前往圖學教室指導,若有製圖問題亦可隨時與老師、助教請教。
4.若因疫情關係,必要時採用Teams系統以線上教學方式進行。
1.The structure of this course will be tailored to align with the progression of architectural design and its associated requirements.

2.By the end of the semester, the regular exercises and homework will be compiled into a book.

3.This course amalgamates a two-credit graphics course with a zero-credit graphics practice component. Each week, the instructor will elucidate the weekly curriculum, drawing practice methodologies, and key focal points. Subsequently, students will engage in practical exercises within the graphics classroom. Periodically, both teachers and teaching assistants will provide guidance during their visits to the graphics classroom. Students are encouraged to consult the teacher and teaching assistants whenever they encounter drawing-related queries.

4.Given the prevailing pandemic situation, if necessary, the Teams platform will be utilized to facilitate online instruction.
