課程目標

讓學生了解自身所處的地球所展現的環境自然結構與生物現象,及形成這些結構與現象的機制,建立地球系統科學的基本概念。讓學生理解人類與其他生物及自然環境間的交互作用關係,提高學生對地球生物與環境的關懷及保護意識。The student will (1)gain the multidiscipline understanding about the components, structures and natural processes of the earth, (2)understand humans in the context of the natural world and recognize the importance of protecting the nature and all creatures on the earth.

人類所生存的地球,由大氣圈、水圈、岩石圈、生物圈四個子系統所組成,各個子系統間有各自的獨特性,但也存在著很高的交互關係,這些交互作用的結果使地球成為具有多樣的環境面貌及生物種類的美麗星球。本課程將說明地球系統科學的整合概念,包括分別探討大氣圈、水圈、岩石圈、生物圈四個子系統的組成、結構、功能與運行機制,以及子系統間的交互作用對地球整體面貌的影響。The Earth system is consisted of four subsystems: atmosphere, hydrosphere, lithosphere, and biosphere. Each subsystem is unique and has strong interactions with each other. This course will introduce the integrated scientific concepts about the Earth system, including each subsystem's components, structures, processes, and functions, and how the Earth's surface features are influenced by the interactions among the four subsystems and human activities.

授課內容

人類所生存的地球,由大氣圈、水圈、岩石圈、生物圈四個子系統所組成,各個子系統間有各自的獨特性,但也存在著很高的交互關係,這些交互作用的結果使地球成為具有多樣的環境面貌及生物種類的美麗星球。本課程將說明地球系統科學的整合概念,包括分別探討大氣圈、水圈、岩石圈、生物圈四個子系統的組成、結構、功能與運行機制,以及子系統間的交互作用對地球整體面貌的影響。The Earth comprises four subsystems: atmosphere, hydrosphere, lithosphere, and biosphere. Each subsystem is unique and has strong interactions with the others.
