課程目標
The goal of this course will focus on the movement exploration exercises, review and reflection questions, and application challenges to help students understand the choreographic process from concept to stage performance. The basic approach will be: -Use improvisation and explore movement representative of an idea, concept, or dance style -Vary movement base on the understanding of space, time, energy, and shape -Integrate choreographic form and structure to shape a dance for meaning or intent Whether you are a dancer, choreographer or instructor, this course will enriching your choreographic experiences and creating memorable stage productions.

授課內容
開發肢體運用的潛能,增進動作語彙的豐富性及技巧能力,提昇及發展對舞蹈的想像力及編創能力。透過即興舞蹈察覺自我的獨特性,與團體間的互動、合作學習經驗,進而導入創作的過程。經由個人身體運用方式發展出的舞蹈語彙,加入空間、時間及動力的基本元素,結構成完整的舞蹈作品。

The course will use improvisational structures and compositional trial-and-outcome to generate movement vocabulary as well as context. This course is also focus on the investigation of creative process in relation to choreography, both in solo and group work.
