課程概述

教學目標:
希望同學認識基礎生態學理論,並瞭解生態學之應用領域,自課程思考保護生態系統適宜之策略, o以發揮生態永續發展之理想。
教學內容:
講授(1)生物與環境的關係 (2)族群生態學 (3)環境壓力與族群發展 (4)群落結構與生物多樣性 (5)生物多樣性量化分析 (6)自然資源永續發展
Environment includes not only the physical but also the biological conditions under which an organism lives. Ecology is the scientific study of the relationship between organisms and their environment. This course combines these tow major subjects of our living planet to describe the interactive relationship between the physical world and members of species and other species. Five categories, including what is ecology, the relationship between environment and life, populations, communities, and ecosystems will been discussion during whole semester. The complex interactions taking place within the ecosystem involve all sorts of physical and biological processes. Environmental ecology is an interdisciplinary science.
Therefore, to study these interactions, students have to draw on other sciences. Ecology encompasses a broad area of science, ranging from simple individuals to complex ecosystems. We focus on the community ecology, landscape ecology, regional ecology, and the global ecology. can depart any of them to begin the study. From those subjects, students can begin to understand the mechanisms that give rise to the diversity of life and of ecosystems on the Earth we live.
