課程概述

當人類進入廿一世紀時，發現這個世界的貧富更加懸殊，價值更加混淆，觀念體系更加衝突，而地球則瀕臨絕境（石油在30年內將用磬，漁獲在20年內將不敷需求，物種大量絕滅，地球增溫造成全球環境影響）。面臨世界的這一空前變局，中華文化必須扮演積極的角色，我們也必須依賴中華文化來撥亂反正。現代的生活需求標準，對文化傳統的價值系統和價值觀念，應重新加以評估，壞的不合時需的予以改革，好的合乎時需的予以保留，並將其融合於現代的科學精神，而加以發揚光大，這才是復興中華文化之道。藉由本課程希望能培養同學中華文化科學思想與態度，以及面對與社會環境互動時，能有正確的判斷與解決問題的能力。 Since the beginning of 21st Century, the rich-poor segregation has become more and more distinct all over the world. The concept of value and ethic is often faced with conflict and confusion. Many natural resources are approaching extinction. The oil reserve, for example will be depleted in the next 30 years. Fishery production will not be able to meet ever-increasing demand in the next 20 years. In the midst of this changing time, “Chinese Culture” should play an important role in straightening out this chaotic situation. The nowadays living standard on traditional culture value system and concept should be re-evaluated to abolish the obsolete and retain the goods. This idea should also be integrated and perpetuated with the modern hi-tech spirit, in order to re-vitalize Chinese Culture. This course aims at educating students the most appropriate thoughts and attitude towards Chinese Culture Technology. Students should be able to develop their precise judgment and problem solving ability when faced with socio-environmental situations.

授課內容

本課程將先從人性面來教育同學，發揮善良的公益精神，成熟審慎的使用中華文化的精髓來造福人群，才是根本之道。藉由本課程希望能培養同學優質科技倫理的思想與態度，以及往後面對複雜人生問題時，能有正確的判斷與解決問題的能力。
